Myanmar has a rich culture of seasonality as most local households, wet markets and organic farms are bringing it back to trend. The novel idea of seasonality is all about freshness, but it is as always short-lived. Preserving fruits and vegetables has long been practiced by many cultures via various techniques to extend shelf-life. At Poe Ferments, we want to take a notch further by applying traditional preservation techniques with microbes from Kombucha to preserve seasonality, manage food waste, gut-health, and wellness. Afterall, there’s more than one way to consume Kombucha!
