From Yangon Film School:
1. Buy, Sell, Resell
Director Nang Chan Myayt Aye
A lively and humorous look at a famous flea market on Shwe Bon The Street, where all manner of bric-a-brac is passionately acquired, recycled and re-sold by the bazaar's ingenious stall holders and customers alike.
2. Crocodile Creek
Director: Sai Naw Kham
As the Burmese legend unfolds of the giant crocodile Nga Moe Yeik- the namesake of this beautiful if eerie-looking creek - some of the people who use this branch of the Yangon River voice their modern-day environmental concerns about one of the city's iconic waterways.
3. Save Our Trees
From a Participatory Video Workshop
This film was created by youth aged 16-23 years old and documents the cutting down of trees in the village and how it makes the village hotter.
Kokkoya cafe will be open with vegetarian food and cocktails to kick off a great festival!
