About This Product

Grown in Danu villages above 5,000 feet on Meneitaung (Menei Mountain), where cool air and frequent mist shape the character of the tea. Produced by Ma Thinzar’s family, who have cultivated tea for four generations after transitioning the land from opium poppy to tree crops.

Some tea trees are over 100 years old. The high-altitude conditions and traditional processing contribute to a complex flavour with a lighter, clean finish. Tea growing and drying remain central to daily village life.

Use & Storage

  • Use 1–2 teaspoons per cup

  • Brew with hot (not boiling) water for 2–3 minutes

  • Re-steep leaves for a second infusion

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from light
